Free to Be
From a hat, the words “Dangerous Loyalty” where drawn. Upon breakdown and exploration of these words, which presented as dark and brooding, a brighter idea was born.
Free to be is a non-governmental social awareness campaign that serves as a forum for exchange and action among like minded individuals; cultivating creativity through the importance of play and life without deadlines. Free to Be focuses on preserving play as a fundamental human right; bringing equal access to all forms and types of play for those of all ages and abilities through three pillars of education, communication, and action. The only way a social awareness campaign can be successful is through public
exposure and this is achieved through a three point plan of deliverables; 1: INFILTRATE,
2: RELATE, and 3: INVOLVE.
The deliverables themselves where created by revisiting common childhood crafts and activities, and rediscovering just how fun letting go of all your worries to partake in the ‘little things’ can be. The colors chosen evoke an air of innocence, creativity, education, and possibility. When paired with friendly and uplifting imagery the brand is brought together and successfully brightens up any living space.
